Chewy-crisp edges, garlicky butter, great with pasta or soups.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp instant yeast
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 cup warm water (approx.)
  • 3 tbsp butter, melted
  • 2 garlic cloves, grated
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Optional: parsley, Parmesan

Instructions

  1. Mix flour, yeast, sugar, salt. Stir in warm water to shaggy dough. Cover; rest 60–90 min until doubled.
  2. Heat oven to 425°F (220°C). Oil a 10–12” oven-safe skillet.
  3. Scrape dough into skillet; gently spread to edges with oiled fingers.
  4. Mix butter + garlic; brush half over dough.
  5. Bake 15 min; brush remaining butter; bake 3–7 min more until golden.
  6. Cool 5 min; top with parsley/Parmesan; slice.
