  • 1½ tsp kosher salt
  • ½ tsp instant yeast
  • 1½ cups warm water
  • 3 tbsp olive oil, divided
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Stir flour, salt, and yeast. Add water and 1 tbsp olive oil; mix until shaggy.
  2. Cover and rest 1–2 hours until doubled.
  3. Preheat oven to 450°F (232°C). Heat an oven-safe skillet with 2 tbsp olive oil.
  4. Transfer dough to skillet, cover with foil, bake 15 minutes. Uncover and bake 7–8 minutes more.
  5. Mix butter, garlic, and parsley. Brush over hot bread and slice.

Notes & Substitutions

Add shredded mozzarella during the last 5 minutes for cheesy pull-apart bread.
